MIDLAND, Mich. - The University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team scored another in-region victory Friday afternoon with a 4-2 victory over Northwood University at the Greater Midland Tennis Center.
Sophomore
Marvin Kromer led the Screaming Eagles past the Timberwolves by scoring the first singles point in No. 3 action by a score of 6-2, 6-2 after teaming up with junior
Yahor Bahdanovich for a 6-4 doubles victory in the top slot.
USI found its other pair of points by way of junior
Spencer Blandford. The Louisville, Kentucky native posted a 6-1, 6-3, tally in the fourth singles slot to seal the match. Freshman
Lucas Sakamaki joined Blandford in the second doubles match to post a second 6-4 result to seal the doubles point.
USI Men's Tennis returns home to host Ashland University at the Evansville Tennis Center tomorrow afternoon. Match play begins at 3:30 p.m.
