The University of Southern Indiana women's golf team is ranked in the NCAA Division II Top 25 for the first time in the program's history, entering the rankings at number 11. The top 25 rankings for women's golf is administered for the NCAA by Golfstat in Bloomington, Illinois.

USI is the top ranked team out of the GLVC. Northern Kentucky University follows USI at 13th, while Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, the GLVC 2003 Champion, is ranked 18th , and the University of Indianapolis is 19th.

The Screaming Eagles resume the 2003-04 season March 12-13 at the 2004 North-South Men's and Women's Collegiate Tournament hosted by Butler University in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. USI finished the fall with a second place finish in the GLVC Championships.

The squad was led during the fall by Henderson, Kentucky, natives Megan Pendergraff, a freshman, and Amanda Zehner, a sophomore. Pendergraff set the USI 36-hole record with a 151 (76-75) at the Cardinal Classic hosted by Ball State University and led the squad with a 79.9 18-hole average.

Zehner broke the USI 18-hole record she set as a freshman with a 73 at the Cardinal Classic and was second on the team with an 80.7 18-hole average.
