EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana men's soccer team begin the second of its four 2019 two-match homestands Friday at 7:30 p.m. when it welcomes Lindenwood University to Strassweg Field for the first GLVC-meeting between the two programs. USI finishes the homestand Sunday with a 2:30 p.m. match against long-time rival University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Week 4 Eagle Notes:
USI still hunting for first victory of 2019: The Screaming Eagles return to Strassweg Field this week in search of their first victory of 2019 after posting a 0-3-2 mark through five matches, 0-2-1 in the GLVC.
The Lions in 2019: Lindenwood has a 2-1-2 overall mark and a 1-0-2 record during its first season in the GLVC. The Lions started the 2019 league calendar with a 3-2 win over UMSL before notching a pair of ties with the University of Illinois Springfield (1-1) and Lewis University (0-0).
USI versus Lindenwood: USI won the only meeting with Lindenwood in 1986, winning on the road, 4-0.
The Tritons in 2019: The Triton of UMSL are winless in the GLVC at 0-3-0 and has a 2-4-0 mark overall. In the GLVC in 2019, UMSL lost to Lindenwood, 3-2, before being shut out by Lewis, 2-0, and Illinois Springfield, 1-0.
USI versus UMSL: USI trails in the series to UMSL, 22-7-2. The Eagles have won three of the last five meetings with the UMSL Tritons, including last season's 2-0 win at Strassweg Field.
Santoro begins his 11th year: USI Head Coach
Mat Santoro has an 88-77-20 overall record at the helm. Santoro has guided the Eagles to a pair of NCAA II Tournament appearances; the 2018 GLVC regular season crown, and five GLVC Tournament appearances during his tenure.
