EVANSVILLE, Ind.—University of Southern Indiana Women's Tennis claimed 18 wins as it opened its 2019-20 season at the Eastern Illinois University Panther Invite this past weekend in Charleston, Illinois.
Sophomore
Kylie Skepnek (Algonquin, Illinois) posted a perfect 3-0 mark and finished the weekend with four wins overall to lead the Screaming Eagles.
Senior
Lauren Hambrock (Terre Haute, Indiana), freshman
Chloe McIsaac (Fairview Heights, Illinois) and sophomore
Lindsey McCord (Greenfield, Indiana) also made big impressions on the weekend as each finished with three overall wins. USI also got three wins out of senior
Alex Jamison (Floyds Knobs, Indiana), who went 1-1 in singles play.
The Screaming Eagles return to action October 11-12 when they host the USI Invitational at Wesselman Park. USI has one dual match on its fall slate—October 20 at the University of Charleston (West Virginia).
