EVANSVILLE, Ind.—University of Southern Indiana Men's Tennis team earned a 7-0 Senior Day win over visiting Davis & Elkins College Sunday morning after ending its Great Lakes Valley Conference slate with a 7-0 loss to No. 20 University of Indianapolis the previous day.
Senior
Ilia Karelin (Ekaterinburg, Russia) earned a pair of wins in his final home match with the Screaming Eagles, who also learned their GLVC Tournament fate Saturday night.
DOUBLES
USI (11-12, 2-3 GLVC) suffered losses in all three doubles matches against UIndy, but bounced back with a pair of doubles victories in its win over Davis & Elkins.

Spencer Blandford (Louisville, Kentucky) and sophomore
Kooper Falkenstein (Jeffersonville, Indiana) scored a win at No. 3 against Davis & Elkins, before Karelin and freshman
Marvin Kromer (Dogern, Germany) scored a 7-6 (7-2) win at No. 2 to secure the doubles point.
SINGLES
A day after dropping all six singles matches to the Greyhounds, USI bounced back by sweeping all six singles matches against the Senators. Blandford and Falkenstein earned straight-set wins at No. 4 and No. 6 singles, respectively, to conclude their day with 2-0 records, while Karelin and Kromer also picked up straight-set wins at No. 2 and No. 3, singles, respectively, to conclude the weekend with 2-0 marks.
Freshman
Martin Linares (Buenos Aires, Argentina) clinched the win with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles, while freshman
Parker Collignon (Owensboro, Kentucky) won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1 singles.
CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT SET
The Eagles earned teh No. 4 seed from the GLVC East Division and will take on the No 1 seed from the GLVC West Division in 26th-ranked Drury University in the quarterfinals of the GLVC Tournament Friday at noon (CDT) at Center Grove High School in Indianapolis, Indiana.
