EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team fell to the University of Alabama in Huntsville on Saturday, 7-0.

Lauryn Thompson (Evansville, Indiana) earned the Screaming Eagles' lone win of the day with a 6-4 decision at No. 1 doubles. The duo also put up strong fights at No. 1 and No. 2 singes, before each ultimately fell in straight sets.
USI Women's Tennis heads south for a three-match slate over spring break, starting with a visit to the Florida Institute of Technology on March 5. Competition will begin, in Melbourne, Florida, at 11 a.m. (CST).
