EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Women's Soccer Missouri University of Science & Technology Sunday afternoon at Strassweg Field. The Screaming Eagles go to 10-5-1 overall and are 8-5-1 GLVC, while Missouri S&T is 5-8-3 and 5-7-2 GLVC.

USI and Missouri S&T were dead even through the first 45 minutes with no score and four shots each. The Eagles had the only advantage with a 3-1 lead in corner kicks.
In the second half, the Miners rolled out of the gate to a 2-0 led in the first 25 minutes, scoring at 50:53 and 68:44. The Eagles struck at 71:04 to cut the deficit in half at 2-1 on a goal by freshman midfielder
Jill DiTusa, her third of the season off a pass from sophomore forward
Katlyn Andres.
USI would get two more shots at the Missouri S&T goal in the final 20 minutes before the horn sounded on a 2-1 loss.
With the conclusion of the 2019 regular season, USI has earned the seventh seed in the GLVC Tournament that is slated to begin with the first round on November 10. The Eagles will be on the road for the first round, traveling to the University of Indianapolis. The full GLVC Tournament bracket and game times will be announced later today on
