EVANSVILLE, Ind. - University of Southern Indiana Volleyball faces its final road trip of 2018 and a Great Lakes Valley Conference rematch this week when it travels to the University of Illinois-Springfield Tuesday night, then hosts Bellarmine University at the Physical Activities Center on Saturday.

The Screaming Eagles (10-15, 2-12 GLVC) dropped a pair of GLVC matches last weekend as they hosted Missouri University of Science & Technology and No. 8 Drury University Friday and Saturday, respectively.
The Week Ahead
@ University of Illinois-Springfield (20-4, 11-1 GLVC); Tuesday, 7 pm:
- The Prairie Stars sit atop the GLVC standings as the regular season finds the final stretch: a half-match ahead of Drury and a 1.5-match lead over third-place Rockhurst University...UIS is also riding a 12-match winning streak that dates back to a September road-loss to Rockhurst, the Prairie Stars' only GLVC loss.
- The Eagles hold a 9-3 all-time series record over UIS...two of the three USI losses have occurred the last two matches in Springfield

- The Knights hold the second-longest winning streak in the GLVC at eight-straight matches, including a four-set victory over No. 8 Drury last Friday...Just the same as UIS, Bellarmine's last loss was a road match against Rockhurst in September
- Bellarmine is currently in the cut-off spot of making the GLVC tournament with a 1.5-match lead over Missouri S&T
- The Eagles are 31-17 all-time against the Knights, though USI is on a five-match losing-streak to Bellarmine that dates back to a home victory in November of 2015
- The Knights rank third in the GLVC in digs at 18.37/set which counters their 12th-place ranking at the net with just 1.70 blocks/set
- Jordyn Kuchenbrod is sixth in DII in digs this season (6.65/set) and is third in the GLVC in service aces (0.36/set)
