EVANSVILLE, Ind.—University of Southern Indiana Volleyball concludes its 2016 home schedule this weekend as it hosts Missouri University of Science & Technology Friday at 7 p.m. and Drury University Saturday at 3 p.m.

USI (9-14, 3-8 GLVC) will honor senior setter Quin Shoultz (Columbus, Indiana) and senior middle/outside hitter Amy Zwissler (Bloomington, Indiana) as part of its Senior Day festivities prior to Saturday's match versus Drury.

The Screaming Eagles also will have the drawing for a $500 campus store shopping spree between the second and third sets of Friday's match against Missouri S&T. USI students can still enter their names in the raffle prior to the drawing, but must be present to win.

USI Volleyball Notes
Eagles need to make up ground. USI needs to start making up ground if it is going to advance to the GLVC Tournament for the 18th consecutive year. The Eagles, who have lost five of their last six contests, are currently four games behind the eighth and final spot in the GLVC Tournament field with seven matches remaining. The Eagles' streak of 16 consecutive winning seasons also is in jeopardy.

Farrell moves into top 5. Junior libero Shannon Farrell (Munster, Indiana) moved into fifth all-time at USI in career digs last week. She enters this week's matches with 1,203 career digs, just 58 behind Jamie Roth (1994-97) for fourth.

Zwissler in the record books. Senior middle/outside hitter Amy Zwissler (Bloomington, Illinois) ranks seventh all-time at USI with 249 career block assists and is sixth in total blocks (278) since 2000. Zwissler needs just five block assists to match Laura Ellerbusch (2002-05) for sixth all-time, and seven blocks to match Margaret Buschman (2005-08) for fifth in total blocks.

Shoultz in the record books. Senior setter Quin Shoultz (Columbus, Indiana) ranks seventh all-time at USI with 2,104 career assists. She needs just 48 assists to match Michelle Weesies (1991-93) for sixth.

Scouting the opposition. Missouri S&T enters Friday's match with an 8-15 overall record and a 3-8 mark in GLVC play; while Drury, which visits Bellarmine University Friday night, begins the week with a 17-7 overall record and a 7-4 mark in GLVC action.
