EVANSVILLE, Ind.—Senior right side hitter 
Erica Oberbroeckling (Westfield, Indiana) and junior outside hitter/middle hitter 
Amy Zwissler (Bloomington, Indiana) each had three kills in the fifth frame as the University of Southern Indiana volleyball team edged visiting Quincy University 25-20, 27-29, 25-12, 25-27, 15-10 in a Great Lakes Valley Conference volleyball match at the Physical Activities Center Friday night.
Zwissler, who came off the bench in the second set to finish with nine kills and a .500 attacking percentage, had all three of her fifth-set kills in a 7-0 run that essentially wrapped up the win for the Screaming Eagles in the deciding frame.
Oberbroeckling, who matched a career-high with 19 kills, dominated the match in the first two sets, racking up five kills in the opening frame and seven in the second stanza. She was a major factor in USI's 25-20 win in the first set as she served for nine straight points in USI's 10-0 run that put the Eagles up 18-14.
Sophomore outside hitter 
Shelbi Morris (Brazil, Indiana), who finished with a career-high 17 kills, had four kills and a .667 attacking percentage in USI's third-set victory. The Eagles hit .400 as a team in the third frame, with senior middle blocker 
Abbey Winter (Germantown, Illinois) contributing four kills on seven attack attempts.
Both Morris and Zwissler had five kills in the Eagles' loss in the fourth set, while Winter added five kills in USI's second-set loss. Winter finished with 16 kills and two blocks.
USI (9-2, 2-1 GLVC) got a huge effort from sophomore libero 
Shannon Farrell (Munster, Indiana) and junior setter 
Quin Shoultz (Columbus, Indiana). Farrell had a career-high 36 digs, one off the school's single-match record of 37, set by Amber Gogel in 2007, while Shoultz finished with a career-high 62 assists and 13 digs.
Oberbroeckling added 15 digs, three aces, and a .340 attacking percentage, while Morris chipped in 12 digs.
USI, which played in front of a crowd of 405, hit .238 as a team and held the Hawks to a .160 clip. The Eagles, who hit .316 in the fifth set and .333 in the first set, finished with 71 kills and 91 digs.
The Eagles return to action Saturday at 3 p.m. when they host Truman State University in a GLVC match at the PAC. The Bulldogs (7-4, 2-1 GLVC) defeated Bellarmine University in four sets Friday night in Louisville, Kentucky.
