EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana men's soccer team hits the road for a pair of key Great Lakes Valley Conference clashes this weekend. To open the weekend, the Screaming Eagles visit –ranked Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri on Friday at 7:30 pm. USI wraps up the roadtrip with a Sunday afternoon battle with William Jewell College at 2:30 pm in Liberty, Missouri.
The Screaming Eagles dropped close contests to Missouri S&T and Drury this past weekend to fall to 3-3-0 overall and 1-3-0 in the GLVC.
USI looks to rebound on Friday against seventh-ranked Rockhurst. The Hawks boast a 4-0-1 record heading into this weekend's showdown with the Eagles. Rockhurst defeated UIS 2-0 and Mckendree 2-1 on the road this past weekend to preserve their unblemished conference record.
Following the Friday showdown with Rockhurst, the Eagles face off against the Cardinals of William Jewell College on Sunday. The Cardinals dropped a 3-0 match at McKendree before earning their first conference win of the season 2-0 over Illinois Springfield.
