EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana women's soccer team looks for the start of the 2014 home schedule to put it on track, starting Friday at 5 p.m. when it hosts the University of Missouri-St. Louis. USI concludes the first half of the four-game homestand Sunday at noon when it welcomes Maryville University to Strassweg Field.

Week 3 Eagle Notes: Eagles completed season-opening four-match road trip: The Eagles (1-3-0, 0-2-0 GLVC) completed their season-opening, four-match, road trip for the eighth time in the history of the program. The longest season-opening road trip was five matches in 2000.

Sadie Schumann (Aurora, Indiana) posted goals in the loss to Ashland University, while freshman midfielder
Maggie Pike scored the game-winner in the overtime victory at Ohio Dominican University during the opening weekend. The Eagles' fourth goal of the season came off the foot of sophomore defender
Gabriella Korte (St. Louis, Missouri) in the 2-1 overtime loss at Truman State University last weekend.
Engelbrecht is in her 12th year. USI Head Coach
Kristy Engelbrecht has an 87-102-13 overall record at USI, but is 50-39-1 in her last six seasons.
USI looks for third in a row over UMSL. The Eagles have won the last two matches with the Tritons of UMSL (3-1-0, 1-1-0 GLVC), including a 3-2 win last season in St. Louis, Missouri. UMSL holds a slim 10-9-0 lead in the all-time series with USI.
USI hopes to extend all-time lead over Maryville. USI leads the all-time series with the Saints of Maryville (2-1-1, 1-1-0 GLVC), 3-2-0, despite dropping last fall's meeting, 4-1. The Eagles have won three of the last four matchups with the Saints.
