INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana men's soccer team was blasted by the University of Indianapolis, 5-0, Sunday afternoon in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Screaming Eagles fall to 4-5-1 overall and 3-4-1 in the GLVC, while the Greyhounds go to 5-3-2, 5-2-1 GLVC.
USI defense did not have it today as it allowed UIndy to score three times in the first half off of starting junior goalkeeper
Auston Bruder (Evansville, Indiana) and twice in the second half off of freshman goalkeeper
Tobias Rebert (Germany).
The Eagles return to the friendly surroundings of Strassweg Field October 10 when USI hosts William Jewell College for a 7:30 p.m. match and the beginning of a two-match homestand. USI finishes the homestand October 12 when it hosts Rockhurst University for a 2:30 p.m. contest.
