EVANSVILLE, Ind.--- The University of Southern Indiana volleyball team looks to build off their last match's success when it competes in the TownePlace Suites Classic in Findlay, Ohio, Friday and Saturday. The Screaming Eagles will play four games in two days, hoping to get the last of the kinks out before Great Lakes Valley Conference play starts on Sept. 21.

-TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
USI (2-2) begins play Friday at 8:30 a.m. (CDT) when it takes on Mercyhurst University (3-1) followed by a match with tournament host No. 35 The University of Findlay (3-1) at 6:30 p.m. (CDT)

The Eagles also play Malone University (3-1) Saturday at Noon (CDT) before taking on Hillsdale College (1-4) in their final game of the tournament at 4 p.m. (CDT).

-OPPONENT NOTES
Mercyhurst: Friday's game will be the first ever between the Eagles and Lakers. Mercyhurst went 3-1 during their opening weekend at the Falcon Fest hosted by Fairmont State.

Findlay: The Oilers finished 3-1 at the Shark Classic in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. last week. They also received six votes in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) NCAA Division II poll, which ranks them 35th in the nation.

Malone: MU is coming off a 3-1 showing at the University of West Georgia Tournament. Saturday's match will be the first ever between the Eagles and the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Pioneers.

Hillsdale: The Chargers swept USI 0-3 in 2009 at the TownePlace Suites Classic and at the GLVC/GLIAC Crossover Tournament in 2010. Hillsdale enters this weekend's tournament looking to continue it's winning streak after taking a 3-1 non-conference win from Cedarville University Tuesday.
