NCAA Regional Standings: The Eagles fell one spot to No. 4 in this week's edition of the NCAA Midwest Regional Rankings poll. USI was passed by Northwood University of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference who clinched the No. 3 spot. Grand Valley State University and Ferris State University of the GLIAC are No. 1 and No. 2, respectively. Lewis University (No. 5), Truman State University (No. 7), Indianapolis (No. 8) and Rockhurst University (No.10) round out the GLVC list, while Ashland University and Hillsdale College are 6th and 9th, respectively.

Current GLVC East Division Standings: USI leads the East Division with a 14-2 conference record, 23-6 overall, while UIndy (19-9, 13-3 GLVC) is third and Saint Joseph's (11-19, 4-12 GLVC) holds the No. 7 spot. Both USI and UIndy have clinched a GLVC Championship Tournament berth, which will be held Nov. 22-24 at a location to be determined.

Wayne, Indiana), before Saturday's match against Saint Joseph's, all of whom have been with the program for the past four years.

Blocking team: USI ranks eighth nationally in blocks per set, averaging 2.60, and is first in the conference, averaging 2.74. The Eagles are led by sophomore middle blocker Abbey Winter (Germantown, Indiana) who has racked up 150 total blocks, which has helped the Eagles hold their opponents to a league-low .129 attacking percentage.

Eagles net Academic honor: Heldman along with junior outside hitter Lauren DeShaney (Appleton, Wisconsin) were among nine honorees named to the 2013-14 Capital One All-District Volleyball Team District IV First-Team list last week.

UIndy notes: Indianapolis is riding a five-game winning streak coming into Friday's match. The Greyhounds lead the conference in kills, averaging 14.05 per set.
