ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The University of Southern Indiana men's soccer team battled the University of Missouri-St. Louis to a 0-0 double-overtime tie Sunday afternoon in St. Louis, Missouri. USI sees its record go to 5-6-3 overall, and 4-6-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, while UMSL ends the day 7-6-1 overall and 6-5-1 in the GLVC.
The Screaming Eagles dominated most of the chances in the first half, posting a 5-1 advantage in shots, while the Tritons had a majority of the shots in the second half, 8-4. In the overtimes, USI had the only chances with a pair of shots in the first overtime and one in the second.

Jeffrey Neidlinger (Carmel, Indiana) led the way for the Eagles, making three saves to preserve the shutout. The shutout is Neidlinger's fourth of the season.
The Eagles return to Strassweg Field for a final regular season two-game homestand October 25 and October 27, hosting host Truman State University and Quincy University, respectively. The match with Quincy on October 27 is Senior Day for the Eagles.
