SPRINGFIELD, Ill.—The University of Southern Indiana softball team's Great Lakes Valley Conference doubleheader at the University of Illinois Springfield has been canceled due to rain and poor field conditions.

USI (19-15, 8-8 GLVC) returns to action Sunday at noon when it travels to Romeoville, Illinois, to take on No. 21 and GLVC-leader Lewis University in a GLVC twinbill. Lewis (24-7, 13-1 GLVC) also had its conference doubleheader with Kentucky Wesleyan College postponed on Saturday.
