EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana volleyball team racked up a blistering .429 attacking percentage as it blew past Quincy University in three sets (25-10, 25-20, 25-13) Friday night in a Great Lakes Valley Conference tilt at the Physical Activities Center.
USI (16-10, 9-4 GLVC) used an 8-0 run to open the match and take control of the opening set. The Screaming Eagles attacked at a .556 pace and had a .830 side-out percentage in the opening frame as they cruised to a 15-point win and a 1-0 lead in the match.
After claiming a five-point decision in the second set, the Eagles hit .424 and had a .850 side-out percentage in the third frame to earn the sweep with the 12-point win.

Brittani Oliver led the Eagles, who improved to 7-2 at the PAC this year. LaGrange had 14 kills, two blocks, and a blistering .522 attacking percentage, while Oliver recorded her fifth double-double in the last six matches as she finished with 11 kills, 14 digs, and a .476 attacking percentage.

Kayla Heldman continued her strong play with a match-high 16 digs.
With the win, USI clinches a spot in the GLVC Tournament for the 12th consecutive season and can clinch the fourth seed with a victory Saturday. USI also could earn the third seed in the GLVC Tournament with a win and a University of Missouri-St. Louis loss to Bellarmine University.
The Eagles conclude their regular season Saturday at 3 p.m. when they host the University of Illinois-Springfield for Senior Day. USI will honor its three seniors—Oliver, defensive specialist
