OWENSBORO, Ky.—Junior outside hitter Brittani Oliver and sophomore middle blocker Danielle LaGrange combined for 23 kills and a .372 attacking percentage as the University of Southern Indiana volleyball team rolled past Kentucky Wesleyan College 25-11, 25-12, 25-18 Tuesday night at the Jones Gymnasium.

Oliver racked up seven of her 11 kills in the opening set, while LaGrange had five of her match-high 12 kills and hit .500 in the second stanza as the Screaming Eagles jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead in the match. USI, which used a 10-2 run in the first game and a 10-3 run in the second set, held the Panthers to just 12 kills and a negative .097 attacking percentage in the match.

Offensively, the Eagles (9-8, 3-2 GLVC) attacked at a .250 pace, including clips of .296 and .290 in the first and second sets, respectively. Senior setter Melanie Pund finished with a match-high 30 assists and a team-high 11 digs, giving the Heritage Hills High School product her ninth double-double of the year.

The Eagles return to action Saturday at 3 p.m. when they take on GLVC newcomer Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri.
