USI raised its record to 14-13 overall and 6-5 in the GLVC, while UMSL falls to 18-10 overall, 8-3 GLVC.

The Screaming Eagles soared in the final three sets with a pair of 25-22 wins in the second and third and sealed the victory with a 25-21 win in the fourth.
