Men's soccer falls at Rockhurst, 2-0

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The University of Southern Indiana men's soccer team was shutout by Rockhurst University, 2-0, Friday night in Kansas City, Missouri. USI falls to 3-6-1 overall and 3-5-0 in the GLVC, while Rockhurst goes to 7-4-0 overall, 5-2-0 GLVC.

After a scoreless first half, the Hawks struck early in the second half to take a 1-0 lead at 51:25. Rockhurst would seal the victory at 85:58 with a goal for the 2-0 final.

The Hawks dominated the match, out shooting the Screaming Eagles, 24-5, and had a 7-0 advantage in corner kicks.

The Eagles return to action Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. The Panthers are 10-0-0 overall and 7-0-0 in the GLVC after defeating the University of Missouri-St. Louis, 3-0, tonight.
