EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana volleyball team learned who its opponents are this weekend as pairings for the Asics GLIAC/GLVC Crossover were announced late Sunday. The GLIAC/GLVC Crossover is being held in Lansing, Michigan.

USI, which is seeded seventh in the GLVC, opens the regional challenge with the fourth seed from the GLIAC, Ferris State University, Friday at 10 a.m. (CDT). The Screaming Eagles also play the GLIAC's eighth seed, Northwood University, Friday at 3 p.m.; and the GLIAC's sixth seed, Michigan Technological University, Saturday at 2 p.m.

The Eagles are 2-2 against GLIAC competition this year, posting wins against Northwood and The University of Findlay, while falling to Hillsdale College and Saginaw Valley State University.

USI enters the weekend looking to end a two-match losing streak that saw it drop contests at home to No. 12 University of Indianapolis and Saint Joseph's College.

A good showing this weekend coupled with a strong finish in GLVC play could position the Eagles for an at-large bid in the NCAA II Midwest Region Tournament.
