SPRINGFILD, Mo. -- The University of Southern Indiana women's soccer team remains in search of its first road win after losing a 2-0 decision to Drury University Sunday afternoon in Springfield, Missouri. USI falls to 2-4-0 overall (0-4-0 on the road) and 0-2-0 in the GLVC, while Drury goes to 2-2-1 overall, 2-0-0 GLVC.
The Panthers scored both of their goals in the first half with tallies coming at 31:54 and 37:59. Drury out shot USI 13-7 and had an 8-2 advantage in corner kicks.
The Screaming Eagles return the friendly surroundings of Strassweg Field next week when they host Rockhurst University Friday at 7:30 p.m. and the University of Missouri-St. Louis September 21 at 2:30 p.m. USI is a perfect 2-0-0 at home this season.
