KENOSHA, Wis. -- The University of Southern Indiana women's soccer team was shutout by 10th-ranked University of Wisconsin-Parkside, 5-0, Friday afternoon in Kenosha, Wisconsin. USI falls to 4-11-1 overall and 1-9-1 in the GLVC, while UW-Parkside continues to lead the league with a 12-0-2 overall record, 8-0-2 GLVC.
The Rangers score two in the first half to lead 2-0 at the intermission and sealed the match with three additional tallies in the final half for the 5-0 final.
The Eagles conclude the road trip and the GLVC regular season Sunday at Lewis University. Match time is noon. Lewis raised its record to 6-9-1 overall and 4-6-0 in the GLVC with a 1-0 win over the University of Missouri-St. Louis Friday.
