EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- The University of Southern Indiana men's soccer team got back to the .500 mark with a 3-0 shutout of Maryville University Thursday night at Strassweg Field. USI, which has won three in a row and three of four during the homestand, takes its record to 5-5-0 overall, while Maryville falls to 4-6-2.
The three-match winning streak is the first for the Screaming Eagles since the 2003 season.
USI dominated much of the match, out shooting Maryville, 22-9, and had the advantage in corner kicks, 7-1.
The Eagles started the scoring 7:35 into the match when sophomore midfielder

USI would add another goal before halftime when freshman defender

Dan Dormeier (Newburgh, Indiana) at the 22:33 mark.
In the second half, USI senior midfielder

Between the posts, junior goalkeeper
