EVANSVILLE, Ind. ?he University of Southern Indiana men's soccer team fought out of a 2-0 hole, but four unanswered University of Wisconsin-Parkside goals in the final 11 minutes of the game handed the Screaming Eagles a tough 6-2 defeat Friday night at Strassweg Field. USI falls to 4-8-1 overall and 2-6-0 in the GLVC, while UWP goes to 8-4-1 overall, 4-4-1 GLVC.

After USI spotted the Rangers a 2-0 lead in the first half, an unassisted goal by Eagles' senior defender Jason Blose (Longmont, Colorado) in the 51st minute to cut the deficit in half. The goal was the first of the year for Blose, who scored from 25 yards after the UWP defense failed to clear the ball properly.

USI sophomore midfielder/forward Paul Hutchens (Libertyville, Illinois) lifted the Screaming Eagles into a 2-2 tie less than a minute later when he found the back of the net for the third time this year. Freshman forward Dan Dormeier (Newburgh, Indiana) was credited with the assist on the play.

After Blose was ejected from the match for receiving a second yellow card at 58:32, UW-Parkside took advantage of USI being a man-down and scored four times in the final 11 minutes of the contest to pull out the win.

USI returns to action Sunday at 2:30 p.m. when it hosts Lewis University at Strassweg Field. The Flyers raised their record to 9-4-0 overall and 5-4-0 in the GLVC after defeating Kentucky Wesleyan College, 8-0, Friday afternoon in Owensboro, Kentucky.
