KANSAS CITY, Mo.—The University of Southern Indiana volleyball team's three-game winning streak came to an end Friday night as Rockhurst University defeated the Screaming Eagles 30-16, 30-20, 30-22.
USI (12-10, 7-7 GLVC) struggled to get anything going offensively as it hit into 12 Rockhurst blocks, recorded 26 attacking errors, and hit just .068 for the match.
Rockhurst (17-9, 9-5 GLVC) countered its strong defensive effort with a .299 attacking percentage and 55 kills. The Hawks set the tone in game one as they attacked at a .326 clip while holding the Screaming Eagles to a .000 attacking percentage in the opening frame.

Courtney Bealor (LaPorte, Indiana) and senior middle blocker
Molly Rahman (Ferdinand, Indiana) led the Eagles with 10 and nine kills, respectively, while Bealor added six blocks.
Senior setter
Stephanie Wilson (Terre Haute, Indiana) had 33 assists, while sophomore libero
Melanie Pund (Ferdinand, Indiana) finished led the Eagles with 16 digs.
The Eagles return to action Saturday when they travel to Springfield, Missouri, to take on Drury University at 3 p.m.
