KENOSHA, Wis. – The University of Southern Indiana women's soccer team was shutout 2-0 Sunday afternoon by the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Kenosha, Wisconsin. USI falls to 1-3-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the GLVC, while UW-Parkside goes to 3-1-0 overall, 2-0-0 GLVC.
The Rangers scored 2:40 into the match and sealed the match with a goal in the second half at 52:47. UW-Parkside out shot USI 9-4 and had 11 corner kicks.
The Eagles return to the friendly surroundings of Strassweg Field September 8 for the home opener against Drury University at 7:30 p.m. The match with Drury begins a four-match homestand for the Eagles.
