INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana women's soccer team lost a second-straight match on a late penalty kick, falling to the University of Indianapolis, 1-0, Sunday afternoon at Indianapolis, Indiana. USI falls to 3-7-0 overall and 1-5-0 GLVC, while Indianapolis goes to 9-3-0, 5-3-0 GLVC.

UIndy's freshman forward Amanda Reese scored the match's only goal on a penalty kick at the 86:45 mark. USI defender Kara Marcum (Evansville, Indiana) was called for a foul in the box as she and Reece raced for a through-ball near the USI goal.

Offensively, the Screaming Eagles did not have a shot on-goal with the Greyhounds recording six against USI goalkeeper Meagan Homolla (Portage, Indiana).

The Eagles start a three-match homestand Tuesday when the Panthers of Kentucky Wesleyan College come to Strassweg Field for a 6 p.m. kick-off.
