EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana men's soccer team lost its fourth straight decision as Rockhurst University defeated the Screaming Eagles, 4-0, Sunday afternoon at Strassweg Field.
USI (1-4, 0-4 GLVC) saw the Hawks score a pair of goals in the first 45 minutes, with the first coming off the foot of Adam Johnson in the 12th minute and the second off the leg Erik Petersen in the 44th minute. Rockhurst added goals in the 72nd and 81st minutes of the contest.
Rockhurst (3-2-1, 2-0-0 GLVC) had nine shots, eight on goal, in the first half and 13 shots in the second half to keep the Eagles pinned back. The Eagles were held to just three shots on goal in the first half and two in the second period.

Jake Bryan (Portage, Indiana) had six saves in the first half before giving way to freshman keeper
Brad Cadden (Carmel, Indiana), who had four saves despite giving up two goals.
The Eagles get a break from conference action when they return to the field Friday to take on Mercyhurst College. Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m. at Strassweg Field.
