WARRENSBURG, Mo.—The University of Southern Indiana women's basketball team led 43-42 late in the game, but a scoring drought that lasted nearly five minutes was too much for the Screaming Eagles to overcome as they lost to the University of Central Missouri, 58-47, in their regular-season opener Wednesday evening.
During the scoring drought, the Jennies used a 10-0 run to build a 52-43 lead with less than a minute to play in the contest.
