QUINCY, Ill. – University of Southern Indiana women's soccer sophomore forward Julie Collins (Merrillville, Indiana) scored a pair of goals to lead the Screaming Eagles to a 4-1 victory at Quincy University Friday night. USI (4-4-0, 3-2-0 GLVC) has won three straight GLVC contests since starting league play with a pair of road losses.

Collins, who was named GLVC Player of the Week for her efforts last week, gave USI its 1-0 halftime lead at the 22:22 mark. She scored her fifth goal of the season off of a cross from sophomore back Jessica Stawick (Indianapolis, Indiana).

After the Hawks evened the score, 1-1, USI senior midfielder Alissan Shetler (Evansville, Indiana) scored the game-winner off a pass from junior back Katie Barisano (Evansville, Indiana) at 58:04. The goal was the first of the season for Shetler.

Collins scored her team-best sixth of the year, unassisted, at 62:09 to make the score 3-1. She has three unassisted goals this year.

USI closed out the scoring, 4-1, when Stawick scored an unassisted goal at the 79:51 mark. The goal was Stawick's first as a collegiate.

The Eagles continue GLVC action Sunday against #17 Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. The match, scheduled for a noon start, has been moved to Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, due to a problem with the playing surface at SIUE's Bob Guelker Field.
