The University of Southern Indiana baseball team was unable to salvage a victory, falling 4-3 Sunday afternoon to the State University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia. The Braves raised their record to 15-2 overall with the sweep, while USI falls to 4-5 on the young season.

The Screaming Eagles try to get back on track at the University of South Carolina-Aiken(8-10)Monday, March 8, in a rare evening contest. The first pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. (CT). The Eagles will complete their spring trip at Augusta State University Tuesday and Wednesday, March 9-10, for a two-game series.
