ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The University of Southern Indiana men's soccer team completed the 2004 campaign with a 3-1 loss at the University of Missouri-St. Louis Saturday afternoon. USI completes the season with a 2-15-1 overall record and a 1-9-0 GLVC mark, while UMSL goes to 7-9-2 overall, 3-6-1 GLVC.
USI freshman forward
Michael Dugger (Hanson, Kentucky) scored USI's lone goal at the 88:17 mark of the second half. Dugger's unassisted goal was his team-best eighth goal of the year.
UMSL scored its first goal of the match just before halftime at 41:06 to take a 1-0 lead into the intermission. The Rivermen boosted the lead to 3-0 after halftime with goals at 55:01 and 72:02.
Eagles' senior goalkeeper
Josh Hill (Maple Park, Illinois) made five saves, while UMSL's Zach Hoette had to make six saves to keep the Eagles at bay.
