The University of Southern Indiana volleyball team fell to the University of Indianapolis, 3-0, Saturday afternoon at the Physical Activities Center in Evansville, Indiana. The Screaming Eagles fall to 12-4 overall and 2-2 in the GLVC while the Greyhounds improve to 14-7 overall and 4-1 in the GLVC.
USI hit into 13 Indianapolis blocks and were held to a .181 attacking percentage, including a .047 attacking percentage in the third game. On the flip side, Indianapolis committed just 11 attacking errors and hit .256 as a team as it won 30-27, 30-28, and 30-23.

Emily Ryan (Batesville, Indiana) led the Eagles with 13 and 11 kills, respectively. Senior setter
Kim Boehmer (Cincinnati, Ohio) recorded a team-high 37 assists and 11 digs in the loss.
The Eagles will return to action this Tuesday, September 30, when they travel to Owensboro, Kentucky, to take on Kentucky Wesleyan College in a 7 p.m. match. USI will return home next Saturday, October 4, to take on Quincy University in a 2 p.m. match at the PAC.
