Steve Owen (Wauwatosa, Wisconsin) USI a 3-0 lead.
Senior outfielderÂ
Andy Nucci (Ft. Wayne, Indiana) tripled to lead off the top of the fourth inning and came around to score off Owen's single to centerfield to provide all the offense the Eagles would need.
USI tacked on two more runs in the top of the fourth and two runs in the top of the sixth to cap off its scoring output.
SeniorÂ
Joe Stanisz (Highland, Indiana) picked up the victory after giving up just two runs in 5 2/3 innings of work. Stanisz gave up just six hits, walked two batters, and recorded three strike outs to improve to 1-0 on the season.
