Kim Boehmer (Cincinnati, Ohio) and senior outside hitter
Ashley Riordan (Mt. Vernon, Indiana) led the Screaming Eagles to a 3-0 victory over the University of Missouri-St. Louis Saturday afternoon at the Physical Activities Center in Evansville, Indiana.
USI, which won the games 30-26, 30-25, and 30-21, improves to 18-7 overall and 7-5 in the GLVC while UMSL falls to 8-12 overall and 5-7 in the GLVC.
Boehmer recorded a match-high 43 assists and set USI's attack to a .295 hitting percentage while Riordan recorded a match and USI career-high 16 kills. Riordan also finished with a match-high .538 attacking percentage and a team-leading 12 digs.

Emily Ryan (Batesville, Indiana) and junior middle blocker
Leeanne Gross (Decatur, Indiana) recorded 11 and 10 kills, respectively in the win. Gross chipped in 11 digs.
Prior to the match, the Eagles honored both Boehmer and Riordan as part of USI's Senior Day festivities. The two have helped lead the Eagles to 44-15 overall record and an 18-8 mark against GLVC competition in two seasons as a group.
USI will close its regular season next Friday and Saturday, November 7-8, when it travels to Highland Heights, Kentucky, and Louisville, Kentucky, to take on Northern Kentucky University and Bellarmine University. The Eagles are currently fifth in the GLVC standings.
