The University of Southern Indiana women's soccer team stumbled in Minnesota, falling to St. Cloud State University, 2-0, in Mankato Saturday morning. USI falls to 1-3-0 on the season.
The St. Cloud State Huskies scored both of their goals in the first half, 3:49 apart. Freshman forward Kayla Berry scored 33:49 in to the match, followed by Abby Frederickson's goal at 36:00.
The Screaming Eagles will have to bounce back quickly since they are scheduled to play Minnesota State University-Mankato on Sunday, September 9, at 11 a.m. MSU-Mankato, the host of the tournament entered the weekend, 1-2-0 and was to play the University of Missouri-Rolla this afternoon.
