PHILADELPHIA, Miss. - University of Southern Indiana Women's Golf concluded its first tournament of the spring season at the Dancing Rabbit Intercollegiate with a team total of 655 (+79). This was the first tournament for the Screaming Eagles since late October when they traveled to Tennessee for the Don Morris Fall Invitational hosted by Union University.
Senior
Grace Davis finished tied for 13th with a total of 158 (+14) over the two-round outing. The senior has not finished outside of the top 15 in all five tournaments for USI on the season, finishing first, third, fourth, 12th and 13th so far. Davis is averaging 78.20 per round over ten rounds this season, three and a half strokes lower than her career average entering the 2020-21 season.
Brooke Moser and Katelyn Sayyalihn finished tied for 20th in the tournament, each with a two-round total of 162. The senior Moser went 82-80 while Sayyalihn dropped her score by 12 strokes between rounds with an 87 and a 75.
Junior
Hannah Herma ended the weekend tied for 26th while sophomore
Kelci Katterhenry finished tied for 34th. Herma recorded an eight-stroke improvement between rounds one and two, shooting a 88 and then a 79. Katterhenry shot an 84 on the first 18, shooting an 88 on day two.
Competing as an individual for the Screaming Eagles was freshman Hannah Gutwein, who shot a 162, respectively.
